Molasses Meal

Molasses meal is a superb additive for use in any method or groundbait mix. It adds a bittersweet, black-treacle aroma to your bait. It is very palatable and increases the attraction of your bait at any time of the year. Being soaked in what is in effect raw sugar solution, molasses meal has an extremely high residual sugar content, full of natural attractors including naturally occuring betaine. Molasses meal contains attractors that are soluble in even the coldest of waters, so its ideal in the depths of winter just as much as in the high temperatures of summer.

Any fish that has a 'sweet tooth' will be attracted to your swim if this is included in your mix, including carp, bream and tench.
