River is a heavier binding groundbait for faster flowing waters or for deeper water when you want the groundbait ball to get to the bottom before breaking up. Blended with extra binders and sweeteners, River is an excellent silver fish groundbait, flavoured with proven roach attractors. For use either balled in, for use in a feeder or pole cupped in. It has a spicier taste than the others in the budget range, and works well with both live baits such as maggot, caster, pinkie or squats, or worm, but dont discount bread flake or punch on steadier flows for a better stamp of roach. |

Dark River is the same great mix as River, but has a much darker colour. Great for clearer waters where a lighter bait may spook fish. Being darker in colour provides the fish with more confidence to feed over the bed of groundbait resulting in more fish in the net!

Developed primarily for use in slow stillwaters such as canals and shallow ponds, 'Canal' is a black groundbait, with added vanilla and crushed hemp as the primary attractors. Designed primarily for shy feeding silver fish, this groundbat is ideal for fishing the pole with maggot or pinkie on the drop in canals, but has also shown great results in the colder months on silver fish commercial ponds. As this groundbait is fine in texture its great to use as a cloud for mid water, or can be combined with other groundbaits in our range for other approaches. Fair sized bags were caught during development in the Autumn 2008 on the Grand Union in Leicester. Primarily roach and skimmers, with the odd perch. |
