Blacksilver Baits was initially set up to develop a top class bream groundbait. In 2006 we hit upon a great recipe that saw the team catch huge bags of bream on the River Yare in Norfolk. This 'Big Bream' groundbait was so successful and recieved such great feedback from other bream fisherman that we decided to market the groundbait for other anglers to buy.

Since that time, all the team, have worked tirelessly, to improve the range of groundbaits available. We now have a wide range of groundbaits for different species or venues, alongside a selection of pellet and seed baits.

We are currently working alongside a number of top match anglers, who are helping us develop and further improve our products. The new groundbaits being developed and used on both the national open match circuit and on specimen fish waters are helping both our fishing team and our customers to catch more fish. With further consultation on a variety of new fishing venues we strive to develop new groundbaits for venues and fish species!

The team at Blacksilver Baits has over 100 years of combined angling experience to call upon when developing new effective baits for coarse fishing. The family run business initially developed a groundbait for specimen Bream fishing. This has successfully lead to us expanding and producing a range of top quality coarse fishing bait, specifically groundbait, particle bait and hook baits, for all species of coarse fish.

We pride ourselves on the time invested in developing and field testing all of our groundbait products, with a dedicated field team of specimen anglers and sponsored match anglers, in order for us to have 100% belief in the product, and to guarantee the quality of our groundbait.  We only put on sale those groundbaits that have produced good results on the bank. If any new groundbait product doesn't pass the field testing then it doesn't go on sale. Its as simple as that.
